Those firms who have implemented the Opportunities Module for InterAction will understand that generating quick, easy and useful reports is the key to gaining acceptance with the Business Development and fee earning communities.
Stanton Allen have developed a reporting dashboard that enables:
- Export from an InterAction search – Data can be exported from any InterAction web search directly into the reporting dashboard for analysis
- Slicing & dicing – Data can be analysed by a wide range of criteria which can be tailored for each client and mapped to each client’s drop down lists
- Output to a presentation deck – When you're happy with the dashboard chart, export the chart to MS PowerPoint at the touch of a button
Most fee earners or Business Development managers want the ability to review statistics for opportunities by practice area, office, industry, client and opportunity type (these are the default options but more can be added). The opportunities can then be analysed by outcome across these criteria and charts can be presented as a total monetary value, count of the number of opportunities or % of opportunities.
A small amount of configuration is required for each installation to map the specific field names and list values that the firm is using. Information from outside the Opportunities module can also be used to add further depth to the reporting, for example, Contact Type or additional information fields.
Almost no training is required as the tool is so easy to use.
